Hi I was just curious to know if anyone has tried to create from scratch or wrap one of the javascript application tour libraries.

    I tried the online demo but it appears broken if you do not let it autoplay. If you just click the start option – the next and back buttons do not work – especially if the forms are minimized.

    Strange, I just tried it and the Next and Back buttons worked fine. Tried IE too. Doesn’t work on a second round if the forms are minimized, the app doesn’t normalize the form – it’s up to the tour step and I bet you that Frank didn’t anticipate a second run with minimized forms. The TourPanel fires before/after events allowing the host application to be automated as needed.

I like the Shepherd library – will turn it into an extension. A component that can be dropped on any container, can create tours, start/stop, receive events, and select controls in the steps of the tour. It’s going to be cool.
