Adding TextBox and Label to ToolBar

HI,

I would like to add Label and TextBox to Toolbar (I would like to implement search functionality with ability to enter text, so “Search:”|TextBox|SearchButton

I would appreciate hints how to extend ToolBar control.

Hi Dino,

just tried again here and could not spot any problem:

I have dropped a toolbar on a Page and then I could drop textboxes, labels etc. from the VS toolbox onto the toolbar area of the page:

What container control are you using ?

    I am using Wisej.Web.Toolbar If I add it to the form I can place controls over it, but they are not part of the toolbar. In the toolbar itself I only have following Toolbar tasks (small triangle exposing most common optiosn): Autosize, Dock and Edit Buttons Under Edit buttons I am getting ToolBarButtonCollectionEditor

    Sorry Dino, that was my fault. Currently only buttons, menu buttons and separators are supported. But we are extending the toolbar to support other controls like the ribbon bar and a generic control host to include custom controls like the desktop taskbar. I´ll keep you posted on any progress. Hi Dino,

not sure I understand the question, but to add controls to the toolbar you simply drop them on the toolbar in the Designer.

If this does not answer your question please provide us more information.

    HI, I do not see the option to drop other controls to Toolbar, I only see option to add toolbar buttons. This is why I am asking if other objects (label and textbox) can be added to toolbar
