Please check the attached files. You would realise there is some difference between what i see at design time n runtime, esp with respect to the spaces between the controls.
This used not to be the case in version 2.5. I initially thought it was because i imported the files from 2.5 and so i designed a new one from scratch with version 3 and got the same thing.
What could be responsible for that?

That’s because your using the Blue-3 theme at Design time and Bootstrap-4 at runtime.
You can either continue designing the controls you want just by simply switching the designer to use the Bootstrap-4 theme, or add an entry to your Default.json file to use the theme you want, like the following:
“theme”:”Blue-3”.
