I recently upgraded to VS 2019 and Wise-J 2.0.13.0. To do this upgrade I installed VS 2019 (2017 is still installed as well), uninstalled Wise-J 1 and installed Wise-J 2, selecting VS 2019 as the environment to update.
I’m working on an existing project that was originally created with VS 2017 and Wise-J 1.something.
I can view/edit my existing UI components, but I can’t find the item templates to add new ones – when I go to the Project-> Add New Item, no Wise-J items appear in the list of installed item templates.
What’s the easiest way to get the item templates to show up?
Hi Carl,
These issues should be fixed with the latest release of Wisej. Please let me know if you still have issues with the templates after updating.
Best regards,
Levie
Hi Carl,
To add items to the toolbox:
Right click the toolbox and click choose items. Then click “Browse…” and select the Wisej.Framework dll from wherever it is stored in your computer (Try C:\Program Files\IceTeaGroup\Wisej 2\bin as this has extensions as well).
I will get back to you on the adding data source problem! Thanks for your patience.
Please let me know if the toolbox solution works for you!
Best,
Levie
