Validation Rules - on Input Fields

Hi team,

I am getting an error when I try to setup validation Rules for textbox after adding validation component

See attached.

Am using latest version (3.2 beta)

    Hi Frank, I have just downloaded again and its showing 3.2, I guess i needed to uninstall the old version. Thanks for your help. Let me check this one.

    Hi Frank, I managed to install and set the validation, I love this feature, however, I have one challenge. Whenever i set a control as Required, I am not able to navigate to any other menu or close the form if the textbox has a required validation. Is there a way that the validation can happen only when I press a button, say Save button for example? Thanks

Hi,

 

I was able to resolve this issue, however, how can I fire up validation Rules say on a Save button instead of when I leave a textbox? Because when I focus on a textbox with a validation rule, i can leave the textbox until i enter a value on it. I want to validate when I click on a button(Save button)

did you run the VSIX installer for Wisej.NET 3.2 beta?
You can find the download links on this page:

https://docs.wisej.com/docs/releases/whats-new-in-3.2

If the problem persists, please let us know and send us a small test case.
