[SOLVED] Timer does not stop.

It appears that you cannot stop a timer. When I set the enable to false or stop it, it still keeps firing.

Just tried but it works for me. Followed the code as well in the browser. Do you call this,timer1.Stop() (or this.timer1.Enabled=false) in a button click event? Is the code reached? Can you attach just a code snippet?
