I have installed version 2.5.23.0 several times because the installation is not updated.
In the wisej auto updater it says that you have version 2.5.16.0 installed and there are 5 updates available.
However when updating it is still the same version.
What I can do?

Aditional at the above. could you ckech when starting with a new project, whit what wisej version is created.
When you start the app, in browser make CTRL + SHIFT + I and check under folder resource.wx the version of wisej.js library
