RESOLVED: Wisej.NET designer hangs in Visual Studio after update of WebView components

Hi all,

latest updates of Visual Studio or Web View components caused the Wisej.NET designer to hang on multiple opens of it.

This has been fixed in Wisej.NET 3.2.2 and you can find the updated VSIX either in the Visual Studio Marketplace or as separate downloads.

To update from the VS Marketplace:

Or you can uninstall from the Extension Menu and install from the following links:

It works not stack the VS when re-open the Designer, but when I click the render Option the Visual Studio crash

    Can you please go to Extensions – Manage Extensions – Installed and verify the Wisej.NET version? Regards Frank

In case you want to download and run the installers, you have to uninstall the Extension first:

Close Visual Studio and run the installer.

Hi.

I Can’t install the update.

When I click to update, getting on file, I run the downloaded file but get the message that is already installed.
I uninstall the existing extension (3.2.1)  and reinstall the downloaded file, after the installation, it still has version 3.2.1.
I have done this 3 times.
Are you sure the update contains the 3.2.2 version?

    I Use Visual Studio 2022, and the manifest.json report version 3.2.1, the equivalent file for Visual Studio 2019, the manifest.json report version 3.2.2

    Didn’t even do the install as the downloaded version is the same file size as the 3.2 I already had on my hard drive thus I knew it wasn’t different …. BIG Problem !! awaiting fix ASAP Cant work with the designer crashing Visual Studio every few minutes like it is …
