JavaScript Uncaught Exception in DataGridView with image field

Hi Wisej staff,

I am reporting you a problem with the display of the DataGridView object, which happens in case of an image field showed with the setting of the property AutosizeColumnsMode=AllCells.

It took me a while to realize the problem, because in my project I have an image as first field in the table and only occasionally I saw a misplaced field division row, which disappeared at the first scrolling. Also, I had no runtime errors and the error is only reported inside the output log window.

The reported error is:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘getTablePane’)

I found the point that seems to generate the error by temporarily setting the debug block in the case of “JavaScript Uncaught Exceptions”. I attach this error screenshot.

I attach also the screenshot where you can see that, if the images are in the last column of the grid, they are showed out of place. Then, by scrolling down, the images take their correct position.

Thanks for your valuable support.

Hi Antonio,

You can use our latest Beta31 release, a fix is already included in that version!

Let me know if it’s working as intended.

Best,
Alaa

Hi Alaa,

Thank you for your verification and prompt response.

Since my development is new and long term I have no problem. I use .NET 7 and the 3.2.0 beta always updated, so that at the end of the development I will have an already updated environment.

If you need the sample, I can send it to you, but I should also send you the script to create the SQL Server table.

If it is useful to you, I will prepare it, let me know.

Best regards,

Antonio
