We have an iPhone 7 that can’t get GPS on our app. When browsing to it, Safari does not ask for permission to use location services. Same thing with Chrome for iOS. However, the WiseJ test page works (https://wisejgeolocationtest.azurewebsites.net/)
The GPS status we get is “TimeOut” right away, even though our Timeout setting is set for 10000 or 25000ms. So we think it is a different issue than this: https://wisej.com/support/question/iphone-geolocation
Our website does work on Chrome for Android — it asks to use location.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Andrew
We updated the phone to the newest iOS and the issue resolved itself. If anyone has info on why it wouldn’t work before, but the WiseJ geolocation test page did, we’d love to know more…Thanks
