I have a project that is using Wisej 3.5.11 (look runtime.png).
In designer, it seems that I am stuck on 3.0.17 (look version.png)
When pressing “check for update” I’m going to https://wisej.com/builds/ where I can get the vsix file, and I can see the message below:
To use the Wisej.NET pixel-perfect designer with Visual Studio, download and install the latest version of the Visual Studio VSIX installer. It contains the designer, all the templates, the designer wizards and the F1 help extension.
You can also install, check for updates, or uninstall the Wisej.NET Designer in Visual Studio’s Extension Manager. Refer to our troubleshooting guide in case there are problems with Visual Studio.
We recommend to uninstall Wisej 3.0 using the previous msi installer, otherwise Visual Studio may use the older templates.
I can’t uninstall 3.0.17 because I don’t have the corresponding msi file. Updating directly still let me with old version.
Please advice.
Hi Adrian,
you should be able to deinstall 3.0.17 from your Control Center.
Please let us know if that does not work for you.
Best regards
Frank
Thank you Frank, I was able to uninstall version 3.0.17, restart computer and then install Wisej.NET-3-VS2022.vsix (version 3.5.11). The project and Visual Studio 2022 are working fine. Even the renderer is working with Edge.
My only wonder regards the displayed 3.0.0.0 version on Toolbox. Does it has any meanings?
