In visual webgui there was the ability to add extended column headers and inside that add add ExtendedHeaderUserControls which would allow you to put a header column that would span over lower columns. No data binding but the ability to have:
Name
First Last
Is something like this available or planned for the future?

we do have some plans in the works regarding support for DataGridViewColumnGroups but
they are not yet implemented and currently we do not have a specific release date scheduled yet.
