I’ve been working on a hybrid / native app using WiseJ 4. The app builds and runs on Android (both emulator and physical device) fine. It also builds and runs on all of the ipad simulators I have installed on my macbook.
When I try to deploy the app to any of the iPhone simulators I have, or my physical iphone 17 pro, the app does not launch. On the physical iPhone I get a blue wisej splash screen for around 15 seconds, then it takes me back to the home screen. On the simulators it just gives me a black screen indefinitely. All of my simulators are running iOS 26.0.1. My physical device is running 26.2.1. I also tried building and deploying a basic test app, as well as the local database demo app from the wisej github, same results.
I found this post from just 5 days ago that sounds almost exactly like my issue: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5765132/splash-screen-hangs-on-iphone-ios-26. I’ve found a few other references to this issue, but none were from people using WiseJ, and none of the suggestions seem to make any difference.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Nick,
Just following up here to see if you got this resolved?
If not, it would also be helpful to know if deploying the app for development via the Transporter app on your Mac loads the application correctly. That will be the best indicator if it works through the App Store.
You can find an example app that we build and deploy to the app stores here:

Can you please upload a simple test case so that we can try to reproduce?
Thanks!
