Error setting color

Hi!

When I try to choose a color in the properties window, the error in the attached image occurs.

Note: in version 4.0 only.

I’m not able to reproduce. I tried setting the color on a button’s BackColor property, as well as the BackColor and ForeColor of a Window (Wisej.Web.Form)- all worked correctly with no errors.

Can you please provide a reproducible test case and a clear step by step process of you reproducing the issue? What control were you trying to set the color on?

    1 – Open Visual Studio 2022 2 – Create new project 3 – Wisej.NET 4 Web Page Application (Visual Basic) 4 – .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core 9, Include viewport meta tag 5 – Open Page1.vb 6 – Click on BackColor property in Properties window 7 – Error Value of ‘null’ is not valid for ‘stream’. Note: Wisej.NET 4.0.1

Hi Ulisses,

what color were you trying to set? Is it a .NET framework or .NET core project?
Please also make sure to update Wisej-4 nuget to 4.0.1 as it contains the designer part
and a similar error was fixed in that package.

    Frank, it occurs when I click on the button in the properties window to choose a color in any property related to the color. Before displaying the dialog box. It is for any project in .NET Core. I am already using version 4.0.1.
