Hi Wisej team,
I’m encountering a licensing issue and would appreciate some clarification. We developed one of our Wisej 3.2 applications using a developer license that expired in November 2024. As far as I understand, this shouldn’t be a problem for running the application – just for upgrading to newer versions of Wisej. One of our potential customers now tried it with the Express Server license. The server license is shown as activated, but when launching the application, he receives an error indicating that the server license is invalid.
My question:
Could this issue be caused by a version mismatch – i.e., the application was built with a relatively old developer license, but is now running with a newer server license? Will this problem also occur with the Standard Server Licence? I couldn’t find any mention of such incompatibility in the documentation, but I want to rule it out before diving deeper. Any insight would be appreciated!
Best regards,
Olaf

The Wisej Server Express License has a minimum version of 3.5.6.9. So my guess is that’s why it’s not working- you are using an older version of Wisej. Using a Standard Server License should fix the issue.
