Wisej-3-Chat-Control

Hello,

I have recently installed the “Wisej-3-Chat”-Control (version 3.5.10) and noticed the following behaviour:

When sending or receiving large messages, the box that surrounds the text is not consistently aligned. Specifically, I have encountered the following issues:
1. In some cases, the bottom part of the text is cut off, causing the message to be partially unreadable.
2. In other cases, the box extends below the text, leaving empty space at the bottom, which impacts the visual layout.

I have tested this issue with multiple themes using the Wisej Theme Builder, and the behavior is the same for different themes.

Thank you for your support.

Regards

It depends on the window size. When the window is widened, you should see the problem. I will attach a screenshot.

I cannot reproduce with your test project. It looks fine to me when running in Visual Studio, see attached screenshots.

I tried creating a project with the Chat Control, and I cannot reproduce, it is working fine for me. See attached sample.
Can you please provide a sample project that reproduces the issue?

Please follow the guidelines at https://wisej.com/support/question/forum-guidelines under “Before Posting an Issue”

Thanks,

Julie

I have created a test project: You just have to enter a message and scroll to the bottom of the response. There you will see the problem. For some reason I was not able to put my project into the attachments. Therefore I will send you a link to download: https://www.transferxl.com/de/download/08Rw5SFCTMnHj Thanks

Thanks! For future reference, if you delete the bin, obj, .vs and publish folders, the file size should be small enough to allow you to attach the project.
