iOS Textbox Focusing

I am having issues getting my iOS devices to focus on textbox controls.

I can’t see the cursor when it focuses. It looks like the cursor shows up for a split second, but then disappears. It works fine on desktop, but not on the other devices.

Hi Levie,

I have tried on my Iphone 6 with our ProgressSample: http://demo.wisej.com/ProgressSample
and it seems to work ok. Can you please try that one on your device ? What device is it ?
Do you observe this behavior with a standard Wisej textbox ?
If not, any chance to share a link or some code snippet ?

It works when I click in it my bad, but I am not able to use .focus() or .select() to programmatically give the control focus in iOS… It works fine in Android and desktop. Ideally as soon as the window loads I would like to have the cursor automatically placed in the textbox. Thanks Levie

Levie, this seems to be an IOS feature, i.e. it´s by design not to show the keyboard after calling focus(). There seems to be no workaround, it only work if focus() is called while handling a touch event on the client.
