Force Session Authentication

Wisej works with any authentication scheme supported by the web server and the browser.

• Browser authentication is managed by IIS: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc733010(v=ws.10).aspx The property Application.IsAuthenticated returns true when the http request is authenticated by the browser. You can also use Application.UserIdentity to retrieve the user information for the user that logged in.
• Application authentication is entirely up to you since Wisej has a single point of entry. Either using mainWindow or startup: https://docs.wisej.com/docs/concepts/configuration

If you want to force a secure connection instead use the “secure” property in default.json. Application.IsSecure will return true if the browser is using SSL. You may also navigate to an https:// url programmatically. When the connection is https:// Wisej will also use a secure WebSocket connection with wss://.

you usually force browser authentication in your web server.

IsAuthenticated reflects the status of that authentication.
