errorProvider and IconAlignment

Hi,

We now have the Label property on controls. Extremely useful and time saving.

It would be nice if we in IconAlignment, on errorProvider, could set it to align left to the control and not left to the label.

Best regards,

Wilfred

Hi Wilfred,

You can use the Theme Builder to do that (see attached screenshot).

Add transform (x) to the error provider style. You can set an appropriate pixel or percentage offset.

If you don’t want to use the theme builder, you can also use a mixin!

Let me know if you have questions about how to do it.

Hi Levie,

Attached screenshots.

One fix could be to have them go on top of everything. Now they hide behind the borders. Then they could be placed to the right.

Hi Wilfred,

I’m not sure if I know what you mean. If you want the error icon to be left of the control and not the label, you can set IconAlignment to BottomLeft.

I’m attaching an image with an icon from the theme. If this doesn’t work, it might be the size of your image or TextBox throwing it off.

Could you attach a screenshot or explain what you mean?

Best regards,

Levie
