DataGrid Column Designer issue

I attached 2 screenshots. In the one “With Designer” – there is a Design section where I can name the actual grid column – property exists. This is taken from a previous application I created with Wise J.

In the “Without” Screenshot – this is missing (new Application) . I deleted all columns, added one back and still there is no design section. Any Ideas?

Is this a bug ? Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but i now have a few less hairs on my head and a lot more on my keyboard.

So, I went into the previous application- the Datagrid column editor – all columns show the design section. The minute I add a new column – I loose all the Design sections on all columns. Closed Visual Studio – reopened – same issues. Seems to be something since the last update I did with WiseJ ??

    Currently using version 1.4.95.0

I just noticed that now in this new version, the “Header Text” property of the datagrid column editor acts as the “Name” – when I change the Header Text value – the name of the column changes on the left in the list.

Even stranger behavior -I closed visual studio this AM with the issue – just reopened it and now the design section is there for each column again. Very weird behavior.

The name shown in the list is always the header text.

The issue is that sometimes Visual Studio fails to start the design mode for the datagrid columns. We have been unable to reproduce with all VS versions (including Community) and on several OS.
