Getting Started

There are several ways to get started with Wisej, assuming that you have already installed it. You can either create a new project from scratch using one of the provided templates, or start by using one of the several sample projects available for download.

  • Create a new project

    In Visual Studio, select File->New->Project.

    In the New Project dialog, select Templates\Visual C#\Wisej.

    Now you should see a number of templates. Start with either Web Application or Web Desktop Application. The only difference is that Web Desktop Application also creates a desktop component.

  • Use one of the sample applications

    Download the sample that you are interested in.

    Open the solution in Visual Studio and simply run it. It should work out of the box.

    Each project contains a Readme.pdf document with a short explanation about the sample, key features to look for, and how to create a similar application on your own.
